We join with friends, voters, and advocates across our nation who are deeply troubled by the election of a candidate who has a fundamental disregard for our democratic institutions, our environment, and human dignity.
Despite this dark and challenging time, we believe in the power of people united against the dangerous forces represented by Donald Trump.
Eight years ago, we came together to oppose an agenda that threatened our democracy, the future of our planet, and basic human rights. Today, facing similar dangers, we stand ready once again to fight back. We know the impact of a Trump presidency will fall hardest on Black and brown people, immigrants, the LGBTQ community, and women. But together with allies across our commonwealth and our country, we will resist.
In that fight, we will work hand in hand with the pro-environment elected officials in Pennsylvania that we worked so hard to elect, allied organizations, and people who’ve given their time and support. We know we can’t do it alone.
While we await final results from important state legislative races, we are committed to making Pennsylvania a xxxxxx against the forces of political extremism and will fight tirelessly to preserve the Biden-Harris administration’s historic agenda to fight climate change, build a clean energy economy, and bring environmental justice to our communities.
