Some races haven't been called yet, but we now know that Donald Trump managed to regain the presidency. This is a disastrous result — not only for reproductive rights, but for LGBTQ+ people, immigrant communities, and Black, Brown, and Indigenous people who will once again bear the harshest consequences of a Trump administration.

If you are reacting to the news with grief, with anger, with pain, with worry — you are not alone. There are millions of us sharing the burden of this moment with you. And together, we will find the resilience and strength we need to move forward.

At Planned Parenthood Action Fund, our promise remains the same: to fight for reproductive freedom and health care for everyone, no matter what. We won't back down or give up.

People are dying because of Donald Trump's abortion bans – we know some of their names, we know some of their stories, and we know that the women who died are just the first. Every day we live under these abortion bans, more people will suffer and die.

That's why millions of Americans turned out to support abortion access and reproductive rights champions.

In state after state – Missouri, Colorado, New York, Maryland, Arizona, Montana, Nevada, and Florida – the majority of voters were clear and unequivocal: People are dying. People are suffering. Fix this.

The majority of Americans believe that sexual and reproductive health decisions — including abortion — should be made by patients and their health care provider, not unqualified politicians.

This is not over. Planned Parenthood Action Fund has never backed down from a fight — and we won't, ever. We are going to win our rights back — state by state, ballot by ballot. We're not done.
