Dear John,
47 days to make the choice.
The penultimate round of negotiations between the EU and the UK began on Monday. Officials on both sides are increasingly sceptical a deal can be done in time.
That’s why we promised we would use every resource we have to remind the government of the biggest deadline approaching Britain - the deadline to extend Brexit transition in June.
When I last contacted you about donating, we set ourselves the target of raising £40,000 by 5pm tomorrow.
Since then, we’ve raised nearly £20,000.
That’s amazing, and I would like to sincerely thank each and every person who contributed, no matter how much.
This month, your donation allowed us to commission brand new MRP polling, which we will be releasing later in the week. It’s some of the most accurate and trusted data out there – which is why it’s so expensive. And our petition calling on the Government to extend transition, and beat coronavirus, is at nearly 50,000 signatures.
Each of these actions brings us one step closer towards extending transition. Without your help, we could not have achieved this.
But obviously, we haven’t reached our targetof £40,000 yet, and there is so much more left to do before the end of June.
This is a time of uncertainty for us all, not least financially. I am aware many of our most dedicated, passionate supporters simply aren’t in a position to donate at this point in time. If you can't, then please don't worry - your support alone means so much. But I still have to make this request. Time is running short – I want to do everything in my power to make a difference. So please, donate now.

Our work is changing minds. Every day, more and more people realise we are sleepwalking into a No Deal in December, and extension is the only sensible option.
But we need to capitalise on this moment – we need to turn public opinion into policy.
And to do that, we still need to reach our £40,000 target. <[link removed]>
We must conduct extensive focus grouping. The coronavirus pandemic is shifting public opinion in key constituencies, and we need to show MPs they have their constituent’s support in requesting an extension.
We must keep reaching the public with our message, online and in print. When people realise just what’s at stake, the decision is obvious – we must extend transition.
That’s why I’ve come to you first, to ask for a donation. One final push is needed before the end of June – that way, we can be sure we did everything we could. So please, if you can, donate today.

By attempting to complete talks with the EU at the same time as dealing with coronavirus, the government risks doing both jobs badly. We are risking a No Deal Brexit at Christmas, on top of a coronavirus-induced recession. Inevitably, this will hit the most vulnerable in our society hardest.
For that reason, we all must dig deep and do what we can to secure an extension. We owe it to each other, and our country.
Best wishes,
Cary Mitchell
