Rosy Mound Expansion Master Plan [ [link removed] ]
Ottawa County Parks is nearing completion of the acquisition of a 127-acre property adjacent to Rosy Mound Natural Area [ [link removed] ] with the intention of integrating the two properties and expanding the experiences provided at the existing park. With the new property’s abundant natural features and scenic beauty, the site offers tremendous opportunities for recreation, connectivity, place-making, improved natural resource management, and restoration.
Three design concepts [ [link removed] ] have been developed for this acquisition area and are available for review below. These design options were guided by Ottawa County Park’s newly adopted strategic plan, the Ottawa County Parks & Recreation Commission, and input from staff.

Public Input Opportunities
* Join us for a public input open house [ [link removed] ] on November 7, from 6-8 PM, at the Grand Haven Charter Township Board Room. This event offers an opportunity to explore the design plans and engage with Parks staff, who will be available to answer questions.
* Can't make the event? You can still participate by completing an online survey [ [link removed] ], available until November 21, 2024.
Your feedback about park features to include or exclude from the park will be critical in creating the final master plan. We appreciate your time and input.
