Once again, America faces another four years of a Trump presidency. The first term eradicated nearly half a century of judicial precedent and overturned Roe v. Wade. The second will likely have some kind of national abortion ban. The day is dark and the work will be hard.

Amid this tragedy, A is For will continue to create and advance art that destigmatizes abortion because we know that protecting abortion access is about more than elections—it’s about creating a world in which abortion restrictions and bans are unthinkable. Telling our stories, sharing the reality of abortion, is crucial to destigmatizing abortion and making that dream a reality.

We know what we’re facing, and we know it will be hard. But A is For remains committed to sharing liberatory abortion stories and supporting those on-the-ground who are the first responders to this crisis. We aren’t going anywhere. We believe that every pregnant person deserves access to the care they need, free of judgment and stigma, no matter who is President.
