Patriot,

Why are Hollywood movies so insufferable?

I believe it is because the entire industry has – for some time – embraced the
narratives of collectivism and victimhood while promoting anti-capitalist,
anti-business, and anti-Western themes.

What Ayn Rand, who worked in Hollywood, said back in 1947 remains largely true
today:

The purpose of the Communists in Hollywood is not the production of political
movies openly advocating Communism. Their purpose is to corrupt our moral
premises by corrupting non-political movies - by introducing small, casual bits
of propaganda into innocent stories - thus making people absorb the basic
premises of Collectivism by indirection and implication.

Few people would take Communism straight. But a constant stream of hints,
lines, touches, and suggestions battering the public from the screen will act
like the drops of water that split a rock if continued long enough.

The rock they are trying to split is Americanism.

Anti-American woke ideology has corrupted the moral premises of writers,
directors, actors, and even the consumer to advance collectivism.

It seems as if every writer is too afraid of the woke mob to think outside the
boundaries of “recycled Marxism” and openly champion individualism and freedom.

As the CEO of The Atlas Society, I'm committed to exposing the moral
bankruptcy of communism and upholding the moral superiority of capitalism by
engaging young people with visually dramatic narrative content to educate them
about history and inoculate them against the ongoing indoctrination they
receive in school and through entertainment.

We're turning Rand's stories into graphic novels and animated videos. Join me
on this mission by donating $10, $35, $50, or more today to bring Ayn Rand's
ideas to the younger generation.Donate $35 or more and get a copy of our

Ask yourself this... Why are there so few movies about the atrocities
committed under the Soviet Union?

There are dozens and dozens of movies about the horrors of Nazi Germany, as
there should be. But where are the anti-Communist movies? Sure, there are a few–
Dr. Zhivago, Mr. Jones, Ninotchka, and The Killing Fields come to mind.

Given that National Socialism lasted 12 years, while Communism spanned half
the globe and lasted for over 75 years, you would expect there to be far more
stories about the horrors of Communist rule. Yes, we should have movies that
memorialize the 17 million killed by National Socialism, but what of the 100
million killed under Communist rule around the world?

Given the massive atrocities of the Communists – and the heroic stories of
those who resisted their authoritarian repression– you'd think there'd be
countless great stories to tell.

Ayn Rand called art the “indispensable medium for the communication of a moral
ideal.”

New movies and other forms of modern art are, indeed, communicating a moral
ideal that is decidedly anti-male, anti-meritocracy, anti-white, anti-reason,
and profoundly anti-American.

Nearly everything that is produced by modern, mainstream Hollywood is centered
on a sense of victimhood.

That's why the work we do at The Atlas Society is so important!

Along with my colleagues at The Atlas Society, I'm working to build a culture
of innovation and achievement.

We do this by meeting young people where they are and making the moral case
for liberty to a generation that is confused, dispirited, and alienated from
the truth by an entertainment industry intent on subtly corrupting young minds
with their woke messaging.

The rising generation must be taught that through hard work, individual
effort, and a rational worldview, they can achieve great things and that the
victim-oppressor mentality that has been forced upon them since grade school is
FALSE.

Patriot, I invite you to join me and distribute copies of Anthem!

Ayn Rand didn't write her dystopian fiction as a prediction of the future but
rather as a warning to future generations about the consequences of letting
envy, irrationality, and victimhood take root in the culture.

With only 12% of young people reading novels daily for fun, it's up to you,
me, and The Atlas Society to reach the next generation in the digital realm
with captivating art that presents Ayn Rand's ideals in a compelling and easily
understandable way.

I am personally asking for your immediate support to get graphic novels into
the hands of students today. Chip in your best gift to help The Atlas Society
promote Ayn Rand's philosophy of reason, ethical self-interest, and achievement
to a generation badly in need of the truth. Your giftcan change the course of
our society. Click to make your tax-deductible contribution today. >>
