Shortly before 6 a.m., The Associated Press declared Donald Trump the 47th President of the United States. Trump’s path to 270 electoral votes included him winning in Pennsylvania, gaining him 19 electoral votes from the nation’s largest swing state.

Also in the night, the Associated Press declared Republican Dave Sunday the next state attorney general. Republican Timothy DeFoor and Stacy Garrity were reelected as state auditor general and treasure, respectively. Find more live results here.

Trump wins the White House in political comeback rooted in appeals to frustrated voters

As president, Donald Trump has vowed to pursue an agenda centered on dramatically reshaping the federal government and pursuing retribution against his perceived enemies. Speaking to his supporters Wednesday morning, Trump claimed he had won “an unprecedented and powerful mandate.”
