John—it’s Shelbi, Jon Tester’s campaign manager.
It’s late. I’m sure you’re getting ready to turn off the TV for tonight, but I wanted to give you one quick update.
As of 10:30pm MT, results are still coming in for Montana’s Senate race. The Associated Press has not called our race yet—and with lots of outstanding votes to be counted, it’ll take some time until we know the full results.
We knew the ballot-counting process would take some time: Montana is a big vote-by-mail state, and it’s important that election officials have the time they need to count every ballot.
But as we wait for these results, it’s critical we’re ready for any scenario—whether it’s a recount, ballot curing, or anything else. If you’re able, we’d appreciate any last donation you can pitch in to Jon’s campaign.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
This is the most important Senate race in the country. Mitch McConnell knows it too, so you can bet he and his buddies will be ready to jump on anything in a moment’s notice.
Our team will be watching these results minute-by-minute and let you know of any major developments. Thank you for your support, John.
