As midnight came and went here in Pittsburgh, the presidential race is still too early to call. Though scales are tipping toward Trump at the moment with the Associated Press counting 230 Electoral College votes in Trump’s column, and 210 in Harris’. The New York Times is placing Trump’s chance of winning around 90%.

While we wait for final results on a number of races including but not limited to the president, we know that this is a high-stress time for many folks. Rest assured, election officials across multiple states have noted that vote-counting routinely takes multiple days, and extra time is not an indication of a problem. We will get answers soon, and PublicSource will be ready to share that with you.

Today, we did share that U.S. Rep. Summer Lee was reelected to the 12th Congressional District, beating Republican James Hayes. Some Pennsylvania Senate and House races were also called
