It's official:

We have won another term to keep fighting for New Mexico in the United States Senate.

For me, this is a moment of deep gratitude and renewed commitment to each of you. I want to thank everyone who made this victory happen: our volunteers, our organizers, our supporters, our campaign staff, and most of all, the amazing people of New Mexico.

You have put your trust in me once again, and I am humbled and ready to get to work.

To my family, Julie, Micah, and Carter, thank you for your boundless support. I could never do this without you. And most importantly, thank you for the sacrifices that each of you have made to make me a more effective advocate for our state.

And to every person who knocked on doors, made phone calls, hosted events, and showed up for New Mexico: thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are the reason we made it across the finish line.

I also want to acknowledge Nella Domenici and her supporters. Campaigns are hard-fought endeavors, and I respect the commitment it takes to run and the dedication of those who stand behind their candidate.

Tonight’s victory belongs to every New Mexican who shares our belief that we can build a better, brighter future for our people. We’ve worked hard all year long, and it’s because of your hard work that we can all celebrate this victory tonight.

But even as we take in this moment, we know that our work is far from over.

This election was about much more than any one campaign or candidate. It was about the future we’re building together for New Mexico.

A future where good-paying jobs are available in every community, where every family has access to affordable healthcare, where children feel safe in their classrooms, where our lands and waters are protected for future generations, and where every woman has the right to make her own decisions about what happens to her body.

This election was about standing up for the values that unite us and rejecting the politics of division and fear.

Tonight, the people of New Mexico sent a clear message that they want a future built on freedom, opportunity, and hope.

As we look ahead, I’m energized by the chance to continue working with all of you to tackle the challenges we face.

In the Senate, we have a lot to do to build on what we’ve accomplished and safeguard the progress we’ve made.

The stakes are too high for us to rest on past victories. Whether it’s defending women’s rights, combating climate change, bringing down costs on prescription drugs and energy, protecting our Social Security and Medicare, addressing the fentanyl crisis, or ensuring every child in New Mexico has access to a quality education, there is still so much more we can, and must, accomplish.

Tonight, we celebrate. Tomorrow, the hard work continues.

Thank you again, New Mexico. Thank you for standing by me, for putting your faith and trust in me, and for believing in our shared vision.

I am honored, humbled, and ready to keep fighting for our future.

Thank you,

Martin
