Folks – I’m proud to say that I am officially Delaware’s newest Senator-elect! 🎊

I’m truly grateful for everyone who has supported this grassroots campaign. Whether it was knocking on doors, making phone calls, or donating to our mission to Bright Hope, all of our hard work has led to this incredible moment for the First State.

Right now, I’m thinking about my late husband Charles; my father Ted; and my grandmothers. They are the reason why I decided to be a public servant and to live life every day with Bright Hope.

My campaign has always been about much more than being the fourth Black woman to ever serve in the U.S. Senate, and the first Black woman Senator to represent Delaware. It’s been about making a difference for ALL Americans.

And though our campaign season is over, folks, our work to bring Bright Hope to all Americans is just beginning.
