John,
My day started this morning at
5:30 am with dozens of volunteers stumping for votes before the sun
was up.
Volunteers at our Campaign HQ at 5:30 am!
Over the course of the day, I have
traveled across San Francisco to every part of our city to speak with
voters of all stripes, ask for their support for my re-election, and
make sure they vote before 8:00 pm tonight. And let me tell you, the
vibe all over town was fantastic!
I even made time to drop by the San
Francisco Democratic Party headquarters to make calls to swing-state
voters in Pennsylvania for our Vice President, Kamala Harris. It’s the
little things like this that make all the difference when elections
are this close.
So if you’re coming home,
exhausted from a long day, and don’t think you have the energy to
vote, I’m here to tell you, you do have the energy. Because we need
you and the future of our city and country is on the
ballot.
There’s still time to cast that ballot – even
if you aren’t registered. The
polls close at 8:00 pm and you can go to your local polling site in
your neighborhood and fill out and submit a provisional ballot that
will be counted once your information is verified.
And for those of you who may have
forgotten to drop your ballot in the mail or at a dropbox, there’s
still time for you too to drop it off. Or, if you can’t find it,
cancel your vote by mail ballot and vote in person at your local
polling place. Return your ballot before 8:00
pm!
We can still do this!
👊
