As most of the polls across Kansas close very soon, I want to take a moment to say thank you.
So many people and groups have played such a critical roll in the many wins we will celebrate in just a few hours.
With these folks hard work and dedication the big wins are in the Republican column tonight.
Here is a note to say a few things now I don't want to get overlooked as the excitement and tempo of good things to come later tonight fills up the windshield.
~ THANK YOU for all of your help, prayers and support as we've ramped up to this very day. So much blood, sweat and tears have been poured into this and the many sacrifices and the missed family-time made by so many of you put us in this great position. I am so grateful for you and I will never forget all you've done. Your heart, soul, and dedication to what is right, to our beloved Kansas and to the United States of America makes me so very happy.
~ THANK YOU for everyone who made the KSGOP bus tour last week such a massive success! Our buses in MKE and the bus last week in Kansas set a very high bar and far surpasses anything done in previous years.
So much so, a dozen or so other states did a statewide bus tour last week and it was a bit of a competition to try out-doing “little ole’ Kansas” with our big, beautiful buses!
As we traveled around the state, it was such an amazing feeling when strangers with a huge smile on their faces asked if they could take a picture with the bus or waved and honked their car horn as they drove past. It made me feel such a rush of patriotism every single time. Man, it was awesome.
~ THANK YOU to my bride, Kristi. She's been by my side and ready to go to work, propped me up when I needed it, or leaned into defending me when she thought the load was getting too heavy. She's my rock and I love her with all of my heart. Thanks for everything, babe. ♥️
~ A shout out to my “sister” Maria Holiday. We've come a long way - and learned a LOT - for two Kansas kids who got into politics just wanting to save babies in the 1990’s. And the ride isn't over, Sis. It’s never over. We still have a country to save!
~ Dakotah Parshall, our KSGOP Executive Director, and his family have become more than cohorts and friends. They are part of our family and they will remain that way for the rest of my life. Thanks to you and your family for all you've done to Save America, advance the greatness of the KSGOP and to make me look good. I obviously make that job a challenge at times!
~ I don’t know for sure how tonight will turn out, but I’ve got a few clues. I do know we all absolutely did everything we could to get the President re-elected, keep our super-majorities in the Kansas Senate and House, and to make Kansas’ elections safe, secure, and successful.
I feel very good about things, but elections are what they are - and that is “uncertain,” in a nutshell.
And the KSGOP will continue carefully watching and monitoring all day and in to the night, ready to fight anywhere suppression or illegality in our elections pops up in Kansas.
I know this is a fact, when
President Trump wins, the hard work is just beginning. And right then we will have begun most difficult part of this journey: governing.
And we can, and will, do it because America is always worth the effort and the fight.
To me, everything I mentioned above is a part of what makes America so special. I’m glad to know you, my friend… and I’m especially proud to be on this journey through my life having shared a part of it with you.
Godspeed, all.
Make America Great Again
America First.
Always, America First.
