MORE INFO
Absentee Ballots
You can vote your Absentee Ballot on Election Day in person either (a) by dropping your completed Absentee Ballot in the Absentee Ballot dropbox inside your polling station by 7 p.m. on Election Day or (b) by dropping it in the U.S. mail. Be sure you have marked your choices on your ballot and have provided all required information on the return envelope correctly before you cast your Absentee Ballot. All mailed Absentee Ballots must be postmarked no later than November 5th and arrive by November 8th.
If you requested an absentee ballot but didn’t receive it or lost it, you can still vote. Complete a provisional ballot at your polling place on Election Day.
If you wish to vote in person but received an Absentee Ballot, take ALL Absentee Ballot materials sent to you to your polling place on Election Day. This will reduce your wait time at the polling place.
Voter Purge
If you were incorrectly removed from the voter roll due to Governor Youngkin’s voter purge, you can still take advantage of same-day registration and cast a provisional ballot.
IDs
Voters who do not have an acceptable form of ID can sign a statement affirming their identity, and they will be able to vote. Valid ID's under Virginia election law include:
