4th Day Community Gathering

Saturday, November 16, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at McMurry United Methodist Church (25 Eugene Field Rd / Kansas City)

Come connect with other people who have experienced Cursillo, Walk to Emmaus, Camino, Great Banquet, Kairos, or similar spiritual renewal weekends.  Be encouraged in your continued walk with Christ in the spirit of the Spanish greeting, “Ultreya!,” which is exchanged between pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago in Spain.  The word means “onward” or “further” and is used to express delightful encouragement to others on the journey. They will begin with worship, celebrate communion, connect in conversation, learn about the upcoming Cursillo weekend, and enjoy a potluck lunch.  You’re invited to bring a salad, side dish or dessert to share.

Cursillo Weekend

The next Cursillo weekend hosted by Midland United Methodist Cursillo will be February 20-23, 2025 at First United Methodist Church in Warrensburg.  The purpose of Cursillo is to help people grow in relationship with Christ through opportunities to experience God’s love in meaningful, tangible ways so that the local church may be strengthened in its mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
