John --

In times of crisis, Californians care for one another because it’s what we do.

Across California, our nurses and healthcare providers are facing this virus head-on by caring for our sick all the while working Californians risk their lives everyday to pick our food, stock our grocery stores, deliver critical supplies, and clean our hospitals.

We’re doing our part to care for one another in incredible ways, shouldn't all our leaders do the same? This is why this week we’re calling on our Congressional and State Legislature leaders to #CareForUs. Here are two ways to take action:

1.  Click here to join our online campaign to call on our leaders to stand up for health, jobs, and education in this moment of crisis.

2.

Just as the Governor and other local and state leaders have led us with courage through this pandemic to save as many lives as possible, they need to lead with courage through the economic crisis to make sure that working Californians - not just corporations - come out of this stronger and healthier.

Californians need to represent for each other and go all in for ALL OF US. Join us and call on our elected leaders to represent for us by caring for us. Click here to join our online call to #CareForUs.

We’ve shown that we can pull together during crisis. Now it’s time to pull together to make sure our leaders don’t return to the failed policies of the past that left us vulnerable and unprepared. By representing together we can make sure that everyone of us -- no matter where we live or the color of skin -- come out stronger, healthier and more ready for the future than ever.

Together,

Victor Suarez
