The Countdown is Almost Over

The National Lived Experience Leadership Conference is next week! This powerful gathering will address one of the nation’s most urgent issues—homelessness.

The National Lived Experience Leadership Conference is designed by and for people with lived experience of homelessness. From November 11-13, 2024, practitioners, activists and local leaders will gather to build power and unity—and mobilize for action to end homelessness. Nearly 80% of conference attendees have lived through homelessness themselves, marking one of the largest convening of people who have the shared experience of homelessness.

Closing Thoughts

If you’ve made it this far in the newsletter, thank you deeply for your unwavering support. Our mission is to uplift our beloved community, to stand with our unhoused neighbors, and to empower you to take part in meaningful advocacy efforts.

Today, as we all head to the polls, we’re filled with a mix of emotions and hope. No matter the outcome, we look forward to a future where our leaders champion policies that make housing affordable, end the criminalization of homelessness, and, above all, fight for housing as a human right. Together, let’s harness our voices, exercise our power, and hold our leaders accountable.

"The ballot is stronger than the bullet."

– Abraham Lincoln
