John,
This is it.
Today is Election Day!
I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you who believed in this movement, who believed in the possibility of real progressive change here in CA-34.
Over the past three cycles, you’ve been our strength, our fire, and our resilience.
Together, we’ve built something powerful – something that corporate money and special interests couldn’t silence.
Today, we have the chance to finish what we started. To create a new day for CA-34, one that reflects the values we hold dear: compassion, integrity, co-governance, and true representation.
I couldn’t be prouder to stand with a community that refuses to accept “business as usual” in politics.
No matter what happens tonight, we’ve already made history by challenging the influence of corporate power in a way no one thought possible.
And remember, whichever way this election goes, know that tomorrow I will continue the work of showing up for our community – because I always have and I always will.
The work of showing up to lend a hand to your neighbor in need doesn’t end when campaign season is done.
As we spend the next few days, or possibly even weeks, tracking ballots to ensure every vote is counted, I’m asking one last time for your help. Can you make a final contribution to help keep our campaign’s lights on as we wait for the full results?
Thank you for every bit of support, every dollar, and every hour spent canvassing and calling.
You have brought us here, you have built this movement and I am endlessly grateful.
It’s time for us,
David Kim
