Friend, it’s been a long day. But before I close out of my inbox for the night, I wanted to sit down to take a few moments to reflect on the last 16 months of my life.

I still remember standing with my wife, my head down saying a quiet prayer, the day I announced my run for the U.S. Senate.

I’ve had my fair share of life-changing moments. The day I stepped foot at West Point. The explosion in Afghanistan. The day I met the love of my life. The days my beautiful children were born.

But I have to add every single day over the last 16 months to that list.

Because every single day I experienced a new feeling of support and loyalty from new dedicated patriots joining our team unlike anything I have ever felt before. Every single day has inspired me and given me more hope for the future of this country.

Election Day is for ALL of us because you've been along this entire journey with me, Friend! 

We’ve crossed off every deadline in the book. We’ve burned the candles from both ends to get to every single fundraising goal we needed to reach.

My team has begged and pleaded (I know it’s been a lot!). We’ve given good news and bad news. But we’ve always given it to you straight. 

We experienced a roller coaster of polling data.

I competed against my own wife (In a contest I should have won!) to see who could secure the most small dollar donations.

We did whatever we could because we understood exactly what was at stake. And you’ve been right there alongside us this entire time. 

There were rallies, there were Fox News appearances… 

Maybe you first heard about me from President Trump’s speech. 

Maybe you came across an article about my life story, my faith, and my time serving our country.

Maybe we were introduced to each other along the campaign trail. 

I’m thankful for all of it. I’m thankful for everyone we connected with along the way, especially you, Friend.

By now, I just want you to know one thing. 

Friend, I hope that this last year has shown you exactly who I am and how deeply I care for this country!

I can’t wait to serve this great country once again and I will never forget what got us here!
