Dear John,
Today is Election Day, and in the flurry of news headlines, voting, and all that's going on in the world, it's easy to get caught up in this moment and forget what happens after all of the ballots are counted and the races are called.
In my previous emails, I told you about the consequences of this election at the state and local levels. But this election also has consequences for our foreign policy. Today, two major battles are being fought -- one for the safety of our greatest ally in the Middle East, Israel, and another against the growing threat of global tyranny.
Israel is under attack by radical terrorist groups like Hamas and Hezbollah acting at the behest of Iran. As Israel fights for peace and security for their nation, American leadership is nowhere to be seen.
The threat of conflict is spreading throughout the Middle East, as Iran has directly attacked Israel twice. If America doesn't stand with Israel, then the terrorists will be empowered to pursue their goal of wiping the Jewish nation off the map, and then taking on their next target -- the U.S.
In fact, a U.S. Department of Defense official under the Biden-Harris administration is suspected of leaking Israeli war-preparations to a Telegram page with ties to Iran.
It's no wonder that Caroline Glick, a senior contributing editor of the Jewish News Syndicate, told me "The United States' stock has gone down pretty significantly in terms of the way that Israel views it," on Washington Watch. Israel is beginning to lose faith that America really stands with them.
In a joint op-ed released yesterday with Yossi Dagan, governor of the Samarian Regional Council, we pointed out that progressive radicals and Kamala Harris are calling for a two-state solution that would have Israel cede its strategic depth, make Israel indefensible, and cut the heart out of Israel -- biblical Judea and Samaria.
We at Family Research Council believe that Christians cannot let fear and uncertainty control or silence us. That's why we work tirelessly to add oil to the lamp of faith in these dark times, both during Election Season and out. Earlier this year, FRC initiated "Pray For & Stand With Israel Sunday," where we asked churches across America to dedicate a portion of their services to praying for Israel.
Psalm 122:6 says, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May those who love you be secure." Under the current administration, our nation has not been honoring Israel or providing security to the Jewish people. Instead, America is largely leaving Israel to fight its battles alone. But we know that the Lord cares for the people of Israel, and we must stand with them, both in prayer and deed.
FRC is encouraging our partners to stand with the Jewish people by voting for lawmakers who support Israel. American elections have global consequences, so we must get out and vote for peace abroad and security at home.
And when you partner with FRC before midnight tonight, your gift will be doubled thanks to our 2x Challenge Match provided by generous friends of FRC!
DOUBLE YOUR GIFT
But Israel is not the only place where freedom is under attack. The World Health Organization (WHO) has been working behind the scenes to grab global power for itself through its "Pandemic Agreement." These unelected globalist bureaucrats are seeking to use the fear and anxiety of the people to build new mechanisms of control to enforce their agenda on everyone -- a violation of national sovereignty.
Earlier this year, FRC sent a member of our team, Travis Weber, to Geneva, Switzerland, to monitor the 2024 World Health Assembly, where the WHO's Pandemic Agreement was up for a vote. Thanks to the advocacy of those who believe in freedom and national sovereignty, the agreement failed -- but the threat hasn't gone away. The WHO will not stop until it assumes the control it wants in the name of global health.
FRC's Board Chairman and former congresswoman, Michele Bachmann, joined us at the Pray Vote Stand Summit to explain how the WHO plans to transform governance around the world.
The WHO's goal is to establish itself as a global authority in the event of a "complex global crisis" under the guise of public health. Bachmann warned that the WHO's plan could lead to restrictions on the right to travel, the right to free speech, and the right to defend yourself. The WHO could even use its new powers to force an ideological agenda on people that directly conflicts with a biblical worldview. We must not allow this to happen.
Just because the election ends today doesn't mean we stop fighting for what matters. Make no mistake, we still have to vote, but that's just one-third of the battle. After we've cast our ballots, we must continue to pray that our leaders would uphold American sovereignty and keep standing against the ungodly agenda these bureaucrats would impose on "We the People."
Family Research Council is educating our political leaders, religious leaders, and communities on this growing threat posed by the WHO. But we cannot do it alone. We need your help to elect leaders who will put national sovereignty and freedom above the demands of unelected globalists and ensure that we hold our newly elected officials, no matter who they may be, to that standard once they're in office.
DEFEND AMERICA WITH FRC
Right now, your gift will go twice as far to mobilize Christians to continue defending the faith after this election, thanks to a generous 2x Challenge Match. Your support will enable us to continue standing for freedom, defending Israel, and fighting against global tyranny, even after election day!
We must act now. The world is falling into chaos, and American leadership is faltering on the global stage. The leaders we elect today will impact the policy direction we take, including whether we support Israel and whether we retain our national sovereignty in the face of the WHO's global power grab. That's why it's critical for Christians to take a stand and show the world that we will not be led into darkness.
John, will you join us in electing leaders that are pro-Israel and committed to defending America's sovereignty against global tyranny? How you vote could make the difference between peace and war, sovereignty and subjugation.
Together, we can defend our nation's sovereignty, protect our allies, and ensure that Christian values continue to be reflected in American foreign policy.
