We know that today is basically the Super Bowl for most new organizations, so we'll be brief.
Thank you, journalists, for doing your part to keep citizens informed about the crucial races playing out at the local, state and national levels.
Your commitment to the critical work of keeping your audiences informed deserves accolades and applause, even though today you'll probably be too busy to receive them.
Keep up the great work, take care of yourselves, and take pride in the important, ethical job you are doing.
Hang in there today and for the coming days. Remember, you are appreciated, vital and valued. Keep forging ahead. America — and the world — needs you.
