Get Out And Vote!

Today is the day to get out and make your voice heard! There are a lot of important issues and people on the ballots but we want to specifically urge you, fellow Idahoans, to vote NO on Proposition 1.

 

Here are some key points to keep in mind as Proposition 1 would usher in Ranked Choice Voting and jungle primaries **(not open primaries)**... 

 


- **RCV threatens the integrity of our elections. **
- **It takes out the transparency within our elections**
- **Takes away the 1 person 1 vote aspect of our elections.**
- **It is confusing**
- **It is costly**
- **It does not count every vote**
 

It is important for parties to choose their best candidates in a regular primary and let everyone choose of those options in the general election. RCV and these jungle primaries would eliminate that option. This is like letting the New York Jets choose the players of their biggest rival. It doesn't make sense.
