John, it’s
finally election day — we made it! 

The journey has been long and not always easy, but together we’ve come so
far. We’re feeling a lot today: nervous, excited, and honestly exhausted. 

But here’s the thing, no matter what happens after today, we can be proud
of the work that we did. 

We’ve knocked on thousands of doors, texted and called hundreds of
thousands of eligible voters. 

When the polls close tonight, we can be confident that we’ll have no
regrets. And that’s in large part because of you,
John. 

Whether you canvassed with us, donated, phonebanked, liked our posts, or
opened our emails, your support carried us through one of the most
competitive election cycles in history. Every single action you’ve taken
has made a big difference.

So, today, get out there and #VoteForOurLives if you haven’t yet, and then
take time to rest and breathe. We made it and no matter the outcome, we’ve
left everything on the table. 

Tonight we will wait. It takes time to count votes, and that’s ok! That’s
the process working. We’re anxious because we know everything is on the
line, but, it’s time to let the electoral process do its thing. And then
tomorrow, we get right back to work fighting for gun safety.

No matter what happens, our sights are firmly set on what we’re fighting
for: a future free from gun violence.
