Dear John,
Today is election day, and one of the most important elections in modern American history.
This evening at 4PM ET, leaders from the Poor People's Campaign, Forward Justice, and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund's Black Voters on the Rise, will facilitate a briefing to address voter suppression issues occurring in southern states. You are invited to tune into this important briefing, which will be broadcasted on the Poor People's Campaign livestream.
The Poor People’s Campaign recently asked supporters to share why they are voting. The responses, which we’re sharing on social media, have been powerful.
We encourage you to comment and share your story on social media or DM our team on FB, Instagram, Twitter/X or Tik-Tok if you’d like us to uplift your words.
Here are a few testimonies we’ve received so far.
