Johnson: If Republicans Don't Sweep, Dems 'Will Impeach Donald Trump on His First Day' |
by Suzanne Bowdey |
Walking through downtown D.C. is a little like taking a trip through Florida before Hurricane Helene. Businesses and government buildings are eerily boarded up like there's a major storm brewing - and maybe there is. New fencing lines the Capitol, White House, and even Vice President Kamala Harris's residence, as locals hunker down for what everyone prays is not the violent disaster the city seems to expect after the election. |

Current U.S. Policy on Judea and Samaria Is Misguided and Should Be Reversed |
by Tony Perkins and Yossi Dagan |
At a recent event in Philadelphia, Vice President Kamala Harris stated that after the war in Israel ends and the hostages return home, there must be "a real commitment among the nations to a two-state solution." But wasn't October 7, 2023 the clearest evidence that the two-state idea is a non-starter? If there remained any doubts, October 7 shattered once and for all the notion that the Palestinian Authority and many Arabs under its rule are willing to live side by side in peace with Israel. |

Report: Republicans Marry More and Have Stabler and Happier Marriages than Dems |
by Dan Hart |
New research has found that despite shifting political and societal trends over the last eight years, Republicans continue to be more likely to be married than Democrats. In a report published by the Institute for Family Studies (IFS) last week, researchers Brad Wilcox, Wendy Wang, and Sam Herrin found that despite a "series of realignments reconfiguring the relationship between partisanship and key axes of identity in American life today ... Republicans continue to be markedly more likely than Democrats to be married - and this is true for several subgroups in the population." |

Late last week, New York's Democratic governor Kathy Hochul, an ally of Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris, told Republican voters, "You're anti-woman, you're anti-abortion, and basically you're anti-American because you have just trashed American values and what our country is all about over and over and over." |

Abortion, Roe, and the Warping of American Politics |
by Stephen Soukup |
There is an old saying - attributed originally to Canadian Prime Minister Louis St. Laurent - that "socialists are liberals in a hurry." In many ways, the Warren and Burger Supreme Courts (1954-1969 and 1969-1986) were American progressives in a hurry. They knew what progressives wanted. They knew what progressivism demanded of the state. And they knew that they could, in line with the progressive spirit, drag the nation along by its nose into controversial policy realms - for its own good. The catch with this approach to legislation by judicial fiat is that it created enormous issues. |
