We must fight until the very end.

Eugene Vindman for Congress

John,

Happy Election Day! Everything we have done to power this campaign will come to fruition today. So as folks get to the polls, I wanted to take a quick moment to remind you why I am in this race.

I’m a father, a Ukrainian immigrant, an Army Veteran, and a proud product of the American Dream, John, and I never expected to run for Congress.

I was proud to serve my country in the military, believing firmly in the ideals of America and the power of freedom. I spent 25 years serving. But that changed when my brother, Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman, came to my office with a look of grave concern in 2019.

He had just heard President Trump attempt to extort our ally, Ukraine, unless it investigated his political rival, Joe Biden. We reported the call up the chain of command. And because we did not let Trump's abuse of his office stand, he was impeached.

His vengeance cost us our careers.

Since that phone call, we have seen the ongoing threat of MAGA extremism surge, so I knew that to live up to my oath to defend our constitution I had to get into the arena myself.

Now, it’s Election Day, and we are in one of the most competitive and expensive House races in the entire country — a true tossup. And I know that we would not have made it to this day without your support.

You're an important part of this team, and your involvement in this race is the reason that we are in a strong position to win this seat. I am eternally grateful to have you by my side. Thank you.

When the polls close in Virginia this evening, I want to know that we did everything we possibly could to defeat my MAGA opponent. In a race that will be as close as this one, we simply cannot afford to leave anything up to chance.

Now, I know that we've asked a lot of you during the final stretch before Election Day. But we need to continue fighting until the very end. So I need to ask you one more time:

Can I count on you to please contribute $3 to my campaign before polls close today? We need to mobilize every last voter to win this race.

If you've stored your info with ActBlue, we'll process your contribution instantly:

We wouldn't be where we are today without people like you who have dedicated your time, energy, and support to help win this seat.

Thank you for everything.

Eugene Vindman
