Adriann Barboa, Bernalillo County Commission, District 3
My name is Adriann Barboa and I'm running to be your next County Commissioner for District 3. I am blessed to live in the home I grew up in, raised my kids in, and that my parents built on working class wages. I bring my experience leading on state legislative policies like Pregnant Worker Accommodations and Medicaid Buy-In for all New Mexicans. I am a proud multi-generational New Mexican, and the only woman and parent in the running for District 3. As a working mom who raised two kids on my own, I know that all families deserve to feel safe in our communities, regardless of zip code or the color of our skin.
Rep. Karen Bash, NM House of Representatives, District 68
Karen is a retired faith leader who has dedicated her entire life to helping others. As a wife, mother of two and a concerned citizen, Karen knows New Mexico can do better. She is running for House District 68 because she cares about our families and our communities and wants to bring her experience and dedication to helping others to Santa Fe. Our children deserve a quality educational system and should be able to live, work and pray in safe neighborhoods, and to have opportunities for good paying jobs. Karen would be honored to have your vote to represent the people of House District 68.
Nancy M. Bearce, Bernalillo County Treasurer
Treasurer Bearce (her last name rhymes with "purse") sharpened her talents of accountability, transparency and leadership with 12 yrs. of public sector experience in health care that included overseeing the largest public employee health programs benefiting over 80,000 working New Mexicans. Respected by county treasurers peers, Treasurer Nancy Bearce was re-elected as Chair of the state-wide treasurer's affiliate.
Julie Ford Brenning, NM House of Representatives, District 31
Julie Brenning is a passionate leader who cares deeply about family and the community. She is an affiliate of the largest database in the world on the status of women and will fight to empower women in New Mexico. She is a policy researcher, small business owner, wife, and mother of three small children.
AnJanette Brush, Taos County Commission, District 4
I’m AnJanette Brush and I’m running for Taos County Commission District 4 to protect and strengthen opportunities in our community. I want to be part of innovative and compassionate leadership for Taos as together we define the new normal.
