Times are tough right now, and many New Orleanians are struggling to make ends meet — by no means should that be a reason to remove us from our homes while we're just trying to do our part to fight this virus.
Evictions happen quickly if tenants don’t pay. There’s a 5 day notice to vacate, and that’s typically waived to 24 hours. Thank you to Rep. Mandie Landry for sponsoring this important bill and to the Louisiana Fair Housing Action Center for the Action Alert.
