Today is the day we’ve been working so hard for: it’s Election Day and the polls are open!
I’ve been busy traveling across California getting out the vote for Democrats up and down the ballot, including the Harris-Walz campaign for president.
We’ve already seen what four years of Donald Trump in the Oval Office looks like, and it’s ugly. His Project 2025 agenda has revealed things will only get worse for working families, women, LGBTQ+ people, immigrants, and our nation as a whole if Trump and his MAGA extremists are given the power of the executive branch again.
That’s why I’ve been fighting to stop a second Trump presidency and elect California’s own Vice President Kamala Harris, a fierce defender of democracy, to lead our nation forward as our first woman and first Asian American president.
It’s also crucial that we elect and re-elect Democrats running for U.S. House and Senate, the California State Legislature, and local office in order to make progress and fight for justice at every level of government.
We will rise together, or not at all. Thank you for everything you’ve done in this election cycle to defend our democracy and move California forward.
