John  - Here’s What We're Watching Tonight

While we’ve had energized Democrats sending postcards and dialing into swing states, we also put in the work to flip some key seats at our State Legislature. Now, we’d like to share with you the targeted races we’ll be watching for tonight as ballots are counted.

Our team put in the work to help elect Democrats around the state. But we are especially proud of these campaigns and feel these districts are eager for better leadership.

In Tulsa, we led one of the most aggressive phone bank programs seen in the city. We dialed over 4,500 phones in SD 39 alone. Over the past year, we recruited 26 regular attending volunteers in our office who recruit through our Democratic Phone Tree for candidates around the state, leading to a 36% increase in volunteer retention this year! Across our targeted races, ODP staff knocked on over 10,000 doors! In one race, we assembled over 15,000 lit drop bundles when campaign staff urgently needed support. Thanks to our help they knocked over 5,800 doors in 3 days!

We were thrilled to play a part in these campaigns. We are excited to see the response of Oklahomans to these inspiring local leaders. And we look forward to building on this incredible work to expand how we can serve and amplify the efforts of the next batch of Oklahomans ready to step up and step forward for our state. I am so grateful for your help in building a state party that can offer so much to local campaigns. All of our candidates receive support from envelope stuffing to yard sign distribution to texting campaigns -- and that work is only possible because of your support.
