NYCI Addresses Oireachtas Committee on the Commission for Future Generations Bill 2023
On Tuesday, 15th October, NYCI contributed to important discussions at the Committee on Children, Equality, Disability, Integration & Youth. Valerie Duffy, Global Youth Work Programme Manager, and Diandra Ní Bhuachalla, Project Officer for Youth2030 Global Youth Work, represented NYCI during the Committee’s scrutiny of the Commission for Future Generations Bill 2023.

Skills Summary: Invitation to tender
We are seeking proposals for the development of a concise, engaging resource for employers focused on youth skills development in the youth work sector. This resource could take various forms, including an online booklet, leaflet, infographic, short video, etc. and should be designed to effectively communicate key insights from our existing materials and Skills Summary. Call for NYCI Candidate to Council of Europe Advisory Council on Youth Election in 2025
Every two years, the European Youth Forum nominates 20 representatives to join the Council of Europe’s Advisory Council on Youth (AC). These 20 candidates will be elected during a European Youth Forum meeting in 2025. We are putting forward a candidate for the AC elections in 2025. Deadline: 13th November

Sligo Community Training Centre (CTC) awarded Gold Health Quality Mark Award
Congratulation to Sligo Community Training Centre, who were awarded a Gold Standard Health Quality Mark (HQM) by the NYCI National Youth Health Programme in recognition of their work on health promotion for young people. The centre also celebrated being 40 years open.

The E-Bulletin goes out to over 5,000 subscribers with an interest in youth issues. It is a great opportunity both to let the sector know about the fantastic work your organisation does and to target youth workers and those interested in youth work issues directly.
