Happy Election Day, John. 

Today is the day we’ve all been working toward, and we want to start it off by expressing a heartfelt thank you. Thank you for your incredible dedication to building progressive power in the states this year, helping us invest and organize in 53 strategic state legislative races in presidential battlegrounds.

Whether you donated, made calls to voters, liked a social media post, knocked on doors, wrote a post card, or just cheered us on, you are part of our Sister District family.  We hope you feel proud of all we’ve accomplished together. 

As we closely follow election news tonight, please keep in mind that we’re unlikely to have complete presidential or many state legislative results by the end of the evening. Counting ballots takes time, and every vote matters. So, while we may need to wait a bit longer, know that our hard work has laid the foundation for important wins!
