But it is clear this is NOT going to be an easy win for the Euthanasia Lobby. The bill by Kim Leadbeater has SPLIT PARLIAMENT. Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, who has previously supported legalising assisted dying, has said his government will now remain neutral. This proves that people in power are STARTING TO LISTEN.
Moreover, suspicions are rising as Kim Leadbeater has STILL not published the text of the bill – we should all be asking why this is. It is likely that the text will leave loopholes and wider interpretations, leading to the expansion of assisted suicide – THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT WE SAW HAPPEN IN CANADA.
