I’ve been writing to you about this day for nearly two years, and it is finally here.  Today is the day we have been working toward, and I am full of hope and pride this morning. 

We’ve done so much work to get to this day.  And, while we’ve been here before, we know a lot can happen between now and when the polls close.  If you or someone you know hasn’t voted yet—get out and vote today!  Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Harris and Fort Bend counties; for information on where to go you can use: https://vote.lizziefletcher.com.  And remember, as long as you are in line before 7 p.m., you are able to vote!

While we don’t yet know the results of today’s election, we know how consequential the outcome will be, and how important it is to do all we have done in 2024.  And, of course, I already know that #TeamLizzie is an incredible coalition of people who are working to make our world better for all of us.  I am honored to be a part of this team, and I am so grateful to everyone on it.  From all of the doors knocked, yard signs distributed, postcards written, and phone calls made—none of it would’ve been possible without the generous support and sustained engagement of #TeamLizzie.  

I’m proud of the campaign we’ve run and the work we’ve done to empower people in #TX07 and across Texas, and I hope you are, too.  Thank you for everything you’ve done to get us to this day.
