The World Needs a Treaty on Crimes Against Humanity Now - Foreign
Policy

From China’s mass internment of Uyghurs in Xinjiang, to Syria’s
torture and extermination of thousands of detainees, to Russia’s
forcible transfer of civilians from occupied areas of Ukraine, no
region of our planet is free from crimes against humanity. Nor are the
perpetrators limited to state actors. Between 2014 and 2017, the
militant group calling itself Islamic State committed unthinkable
crimes against the Yazidis and many other communities in Iraq and
beyond, including mass killing, abductions, enslavement, torture, and
rape.

In the last 12 months in particular, we have witnessed the most
horrific crimes in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories,
with potential crimes against humanity by both sides being
investigated by the International Criminal Court (ICC), yet nothing
seems capable of putting an end to the carnage in Gaza and the
decades-long cycle of impunity.

When Anxiety Interferes with Work - Harvard Business Review

symptoms like repetitive and catastrophic thinking. If youve been
worried for a while, wondering if you should see a therapist, take
time off, tell your boss, or even quit your job, clinical psychologist
Michelle Drapkin has advice.

Trump and Harris Keep Talking About E.V.s in Michigan. Here's Why.

To Ms. Harris, it is clear that electric cars are a significant part
of the world’s future, that the Detroit automakers need to be
competitive and that the federal government should nudge them in that
direction. As Mr. Trump sees it, customer demand should dictate
whether companies make electric vehicles, and federal efforts to
increase production are a mistake that could strengthen China and hurt
American workers.

concluded, based on absentee ballots and early voting returns, that
they were undersampling women, Black voters and people in Detroit. The
story of this election could be that pollsters were so desperate to
