We had a BIG WIN last night in Nebraska’s 2nd district when BNC candidate Kara Eastman swept past her primary opponents with more than 40,000 votes! 

This isn’t Kara’s first election. She challenged pro-Trump Republican Don Bacon in 2018 where she came within a fraction of a point of unseating him, garnering 121,770 votes. 

Replacing a Republican with a fierce progressive in the Midwest will send a powerful message to the political establishment that voters in the heartland are all in for Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, and a Federal Jobs Guarantee.

As Kara says, these are not radical ideas. We just need enough COURAGE to do the right things!

We still have dozens of primaries to go, but as of now, Brand New Congress already has three solid progressives heading to the general that could replace three corrupt Republicans in the House.

Adrienne Bell (TX-14) is challenging Randy Weber, and Nick Rubando (OH-05) is challenging Bob Latta. Kara’s win last night means she will challenge Republican Don Bacon in November!
