Hi John,

It’s here — Election Day — and we’re ready. Are you? There’s only one thing you need to remember to do today: Vote. Visit vote.org to find your polling location and remember: if you are in line when the polls are closing, you still have the legal right to vote. So STAY IN LINE. Every vote counts.

While you’re out doing your civic duty, we’ll be keeping an eye on tonight:

Prop 1 (the New York Equal Rights Amendment): NIRH Action Fund worked hard to pass Prop 1, which will make New York the first state to protect pregnancy, including abortion and other pregnancy outcomes, under sex discrimination.

Colorado’s Prop 79: NIRH helped write this constitutional amendment and NIRH Action Fund supported the campaign, which removes insurance bans for abortion coverage, which disproportionately harm people with low incomes and people of color.

Our work won’t stop, no matter what happens tonight or in the days ahead. If we face another Trump administration, our work in the states – the first and last lines of protection – will be more critical than ever. If Harris wins, we’ll work to ensure that what happens at the federal level sets us up to win real change in states nationwide. Real change includes a future where all pregnant people have dignity, autonomy, and no fear of government interference at any point in pregnancy.

Will you donate $5 today to fuel our work now and for whatever the future brings?
