Friends -
The Postal Service and postal workers are more essential than ever before, and they need our help.
In this unprecedented crisis, the Postal Service is a lifeline for our country. They deliver essential goods including prescription drugs to people who are stuck at home, and this fall, we are going to need their help to keep our democracy running through vote-by-mail. In many rural communities, they are the only ones providing any mail or package delivery.
The House just put forward a relief package with provisions to make sure USPS gets the funding it needs, and now we need the Senate to make sure this is a priority in the next relief bill as well.
Add your name: Tell my Republican colleagues in the Senate to make sure funding for the Postal Service is included in the next relief bill. This is critically important. Senate Republicans need to hear from you that the American people are demanding action.

The Postal Service doesn't just deliver mail. They deliver hope to communities across the nation, and they employ more Americans than any government entity other than the military.
The Postal Service is enshrined in the Constitution. They should have bipartisan support, but President Trump has repeatedly expressed disdain for the Postal Service. Recently, he called the agency a "joke" and appointed one of his major donors as postmaster general.
Republicans have long wanted to privatize the Postal Service, and now they're trying to use this crisis as an excuse to do it.
We cannot let Republicans destroy the Postal Service to satisfy Trump's political interests.
Their services are essential, and these workers are on the frontlines right now. They deserve more from their elected officials, and I am going to fight to make sure they get it. Join me:
Sign my petition to demand that Senate Republicans fund the Postal Service -- not bend to Donald Trump's pressure.
