John -- It's Election Day!

There's a lot on the line in races today, not just for federal offices like the president or your representatives in Congress, but state legislatures and governorships and your local offices around the country. Voting rights and ballot access are 100% still on the ballot, no matter what you might hear from politicians who are running. Our democracy is still on the line and opponents of voting rights will absolutely press their advantage if they win today.

We can do this, John -- we can defend our right to vote, make every vote count, and make the people heard in our elections. Whether you still need to vote today or are done until the next election, make sure your votes counts, your voice is heard, and that you forward this to your friends, family, and neighbors and make sure they have a plan to vote, too!

Since the Supreme Court gutted key provisions in the Voting Rights Act, extreme politicians have taken advantage to pass harsh laws that restrict access to the ballot box. These restrictions particularly affect disadvantaged communities and people of color. It’s our goal to bring awareness to these laws wherever they may crop up and organize voters to take action to ensure the right to vote is available to everyone in their states and communities.
