Happy Election Day, John!

Today's outcome will determine the future of not just North Carolina, but our country. Durham County voters have the potential to secure enough votes to secure statewide victories for Josh Stein and Kamala Harris.

Even still, this election will have razor-thin margins. Every single vote can and will make a difference in the outcome of this election.

It's important to remember to vote in ALL races, and to flip your ballot over. Local elections matter too! I'm at the bottom of the ballot this year, and critical initiatives are on the back.

I encourage folks to vote YES on bonds that will support our streets, sidewalks, and parks. And it’s critical you vote AGAINST the NC constitutional amendment that is aimed to spread lies about immigrants and voting rights.

Polls are now open until 7:30 pm. And remember, if you are in line by 7:30 you WILL be allowed to vote. Voters must vote at their assigned polling place.
