John,
Today is
Election Day! Polls are open statewide from 6:00am to 9:00pm.
If you have an early vote by mail or
absentee ballot,
today is
the last
day to
get your ballot
postmarked or
drop it off in person at
your polling place or County Board of Elections Office. You can drop it off in person
until 9:00pm tonight.
Your vote is your voice, so get out and make your voice
heard.
In addition to voting for president and representatives in
Congress and the State Legislature, all New Yorkers have at
least one proposition on the ballot – one that would amend our
constitution to protect New Yorkers from unequal treatment under the
law. Depending on where you live, there may also be other local races
and propositions to vote on, so don’t forget to flip your ballot to
vote on important issues that will impact you and your communities.
We know there’s a lot of information going around online. If
you have any questions about voting, the best place to find accurate
information is the State
Board of Elections or your local board
of elections.
Get out and vote, New York!
Ever Upward,
Gov. Kathy
Hochul
