Tell Congress that curbing hunger will boost our economy

Key measures to increase SNAP benefits are included in the recently proposed Health and Economic Recovery Omnibus Emergency Solutions (HEROES) Act, which the House is expected to vote on as soon as THIS FRIDAY, MAY 15. But other critical provisions -- to expand eligibility to SNAP and provide additional help for those in deep poverty -- have been left out.

It's important that ALL households struggling to put food on the table get the assistance they need during - and to recover from - this disaster. SNAP is our nation’s first line of defense against hunger. SNAP strengthens our economy in good times, and it can help save it in times like these.
