It's finally here—the last day to cast your ballot for the brighter future that Kamala Harris and Tim Walz can deliver.

Whatever happens today, there are a few things we're keeping in mind:

It is normal and expected for results to take some time. And if the democratic process is endangered, the progressive movement is ready to support efforts to make sure every vote gets counted.

The long trajectory of our work to secure a safer climate and a brighter future goes on—regardless of the outcome of this election. We cannot give up, because every fraction of a degree of warming we avoid equates to lives saved.

YOUR vote and YOUR commitment to the climate movement matter. The climate crisis is already here, and we need all hands on deck.

In other words: Every vote matters, every fraction of a degree matters, and every one of the actions you take now matters.

If you already voted, thank you! If you haven't voted yet, please get to the polls as soon as you can today:

Check your registration and look up your polling place and hours of operation

Don't forget to bring a valid form of ID if your state requires it, and be prepared to stand in line for as long as you need to make sure your vote is counted

There's a good chance we won't know tonight who our next president will be, the makeup of Congress, or the results of all the critical down-ballot races in states and cities across the country. And that's okay. Getting it right is so much more important than getting it fast, as each state takes the time it needs to count every single vote.

No matter what the results turn out to be, please know that Evergreen will never stop fighting for our climate, our democracy, and the thriving, just, and inclusive clean energy future that we all deserve.
