New Jersey and New York have made up nearly half of all of the COVID-19 cases in the U.S.

It’s been devastating -- nearly everyone in our state has been affected by this health crisis in some way.

That’s why we’ve come together in unprecedented fashion to tackle this crisis and flatten the curve of the coronavirus.

In Congress, I’ve worked across the aisle to increase testing capacity and critical medical supply lines. I’m also leading a bipartisan Regional Recovery Task Force focused on finding ways to reduce the number of coronavirus cases so we can safely reopen the economy.

New Jerseyans of all walks of life are working to combat this health crisis because we know this isn’t a partisan issue. It’s not about politics at all -- it’s about taking care of people.

New Jerseyans are doing everything we can. Now, we need the White House Administration to do its part and implement a national strategy to increase COVID-19 testing capacity that prioritizes tests for at-risk frontline workers, the most vulnerable, and the seriously ill.
