It’s hard to believe we’re finally here. It’s the eve of Election Day.
While we finalize our last-minute pitch to undecided voters out on the campaign trail, I’m looking back with gratitude for this movement. We’ve come a long way since launching this campaign – and now we’re inches away from unseating Mike Garcia and ensuring a Democratic majority.
It was never my plan to run for Congress. I dedicated my career to delivering results for our community as NASA Chief of Staff under President Obama, creating over 700 good jobs in Santa Clarita and the Antelope Valley, and co-founding a first-of-its-kind wildfire prevention organization.
I realized that Mike Garcia was putting party over the people he was elected to serve. It shows in his votes for an extreme abortion ban, shady self-serving stock dealings, and alignment with Trump and the far-right.
We have a golden opportunity to flip this seat and give our community someone who will always put them first in Congress. Votes are counted in less than 24 hours.
