It’s Sandi Ault. If we haven’t met yet I am a democrat volunteer and grassroots organizer based in Douglas County (DougCo), the most populated county in Lauren Boebert’s proposed new Congressional district. My team and I have been recognized by the Colorado Democratic Party and our county party as their Volunteers of the Year.

When the Colorado Turnout Project Team reached out to me for advice on where they should put their focus this cycle, I told them:

1. No one realizes how flippable Douglas County is.

2. If you want to see the largest return on your investment, put all your chips on DougCo.

They listened and made Douglas County the epicenter of their efforts to stop Boebert. Now we’ve been vindicated:

Renowned pollster Dave Wasserman has just recognized Douglas County as a “Whole Foods County” that could flip from Trump ‘20 to Harris ‘24 this election, and there are a whopping 34,000 registered democratic voters who have not voted yet in Douglas County.

Although the Colorado Turnout Project has all but exhausted their war-chest this past week in their pre-election push, they decided that it is imperative that we reach every registered Democrat in Douglas County who hasn’t voted with GOTV text messages, right up until the polls close tomorrow.

In a risky move, they have begun spending money they don’t have on texts to these voters. Their texting platform will not charge them until they are done texting, so they’ll be fine—but only if we can raise the money to pay for these texts.

This is our last stand. We need to flip Douglas County. Otherwise, Boebert gets two more years to use her platform to launch an armed insurrection. Can you chip in anything at all to help us get every last Democrat to the polls?
