John,
I just got my boys settled in for the night, and I’m turning to my night’s work. I’m reaching out one final time before polls open tomorrow morning to ask you to make one last contribution to our campaign:

I wanted to make sure I reached out one last time before polls open tomorrow to reflect on the stakes of this race and what we’ve already achieved together.
In 2022, we made history by flipping a 50-year Republican stronghold, sending the first pro-choice woman to Congress from West Michigan–a victory we fought for at a time when reproductive rights were being challenged at every turn. Now, just two years later, these challenges have only intensified, with even stronger pushes to ban access across the country.
This election cycle has been contentious, but it’s not the first time we’ve been here. When I think back to past elections, there are lessons I want to take. In 2016, Michigan went red by nearly 10,000 votes. Just 10,000 votes decided the next four years of leadership in our state and the nation. That’s why we’re working so hard–because in battleground Michigan, we can’t afford to leave a single stone unturned.
Republicans have been campaigning non-stop in Michigan for weeks in attempts to take this state. But I know that we’ve built something enduring here in West Michigan. So, I’m hoping you’ll join me with a contribution to my campaign before polls close tomorrow:
