FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

West Gilligan Creek Road to be Closed for Daytime Tree Removal November 12 and 13, 2024 west of Rof Lane.

West Gilligan Creek Road, west of South Skagit Hwy and Rof Lane, will be closed for tree removal on Tuesday, November 12 and Wednesday, November 13, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.  Skagit County crews will be removing dead trees from within the right of way.

We ask the public to please steer clear of the work zone while the area is closed for the safety of our crews and to ensure the work can be finished as soon as possible.

The road will be closed to all vehicles, including Emergency Response vehicles.

The Detour Route will be South Skagit Highway for both directions.
