As we close in on Election Day, I want to thank you for your pro-Israel leadership and support this cycle.


Together, our community has led the political fight to strengthen support for the U.S.-Israel relationship in Congress. AIPAC has endorsed 362 Democratic and Republican candidates for the House and Senate on the ballot tomorrow, and every indication is that this incoming Congress will be the most pro-Israel ever elected.


Not only did our community help strengthen our friends, but we also defeated nine anti-Israel candidates and three incumbent members of Congress with poor voting records. With the defeat of Reps. Jamaal Bowman and Cori Bush, we ensured the Squad will be even smaller in the next Congress.


No matter who wins the White House or controls each chamber of Congress, our work to build and strengthen bipartisan support for the U.S.-Israel relationship will remain essential. As Iran and its proxies escalate their war against the Jewish state, we will continue to work with our elected leaders in the new executive and legislative branches to ensure Israel has the resources it needs to protect its families.


Thanks to your support and engagement, we are incredibly well positioned with both prospective administrations and all the likely next leaders in Congress.


We know the security challenges facing Israel and America are significant, and anti-Israel groups are already planning their response to our electoral success.


We’ve made incredible progress demonstrating the strength of the pro-Israel political community over the three years since we launched the AIPAC PAC and the formation of the super PAC United Democracy Project — but we are only at the beginning of this fight.


Together, we must redouble our commitment to pro-Israel politics and continue to send the powerful message to all of Washington that being pro-Israel is good policy and good politics on both sides of the aisle.

Update on Lebanon operations


Hezbollah is continuing to bombard Israeli cities, launching dozens of rockets and drones into Israel today alone.


On Saturday, 11 civilians were

injured in a direct rocket strike on a home in central Israel. "We went out and saw dust, children screaming, women screaming and everyone went to the house that was struck," said Qasim Mohab, a resident of Tira, where the rocket hit. "We were able to evacuate and rescue those who were inside the house, and thank God we were blessed that there was no one killed."

Meanwhile, Israel is continuing to eliminate key Hezbollah infrastructure and terrorists in Lebanon — roughly a month after

beginning its ground offensive there.


In southern Lebanon, IDF troops found weapons stored in both the kitchen and children's room of a residential building, including RPGs, rocket launchers, rockets, grenades, and AK-47 rifles.


In Tyre, Israel killed two Hezbollah commanders who were responsible for launching more than 400 rockets and mortars in just the past month. That’s roughly 10 percent of the total number of launches during this period.


Israel also eliminated another two Hezbollah commanders who were responsible for multiple rocket attacks, including the attack in Majdal Shams that killed 12 children playing soccer and the rocket attack last Thursday that killed 5 civilians in Metula.

Iranians celebrate 45th anniversary of U.S. hostage crisis


Supporters of the Iranian regime gathered outside the former U.S. embassy in Tehran today to mark the 1979 hostage crisis — when Iranians stormed the embassy, took 52 American diplomats hostage and held them for 444 days.

burned American and Israeli flags and chanted "Death to Israel, death to America!" outside the former embassy, which is now an anti-American museum and covered with anti-American murals.

"We will never forget both the service of the brave American diplomats held in Tehran and the abhorrent treatment that they were subjected to by the Iranian regime," the U.S. State Department said in a statement marking the anniversary. "We remain clear-eyed about the threats posed by the Iranian regime and will continue to work with our partners and allies to hold it accountable."

Picture of the Day: NYC Marathon runners honor hostages


Yesterday, more than 150 runners in the New York City Marathon dedicated their races to the remaining hostages in Gaza.


They wore shirts with the faces of hostages Naama Levy, Doron Steinbrecher, Evyatar David, Ohad Yahalomi and Edan Alexander — all of whom had previously completed marathons and triathlons.
