NYT - Election Live Updates: Trump Says He Shouldn't Have Left White House [[link removed]]
This is why we need to take his words literally, John.
Campaigning yesterday in Pennsylvania, Donald Trump delivered a profane and conspiracy-laden speech, talking about reporters being shot and suggesting he “ shouldn’t have left ” the White House after his 2020 loss. For those counting at home, that's a major party candidate saying he should have been an anti-democratic autocrat and refused to leave office after an election defeat.
We keep banging the drum about the lies and conspiracy theories we've heard for nearly a decade because voters need to understand what is on the line. From documents like Project 2025 to the verbatim quotes from candidates, the forces that want to end our democracy and silence your right to vote are more than on the news -- they're at the gates , determined to break in and change our country for the worse, forever.
Voters must know what's at stake. The voters who care about our democracy, who care about the principle behind our country, who put our shared values ahead of any political party -- we have to make sure each and every one of them shows up and casts their ballot tomorrow.
We must defend our democracy against these lies and attacks. Help us restore faith in our elections with $25 or whatever you can today to educate voters about what's at stake tomorrow and beyond >> [[link removed]]

Yes, this is about more than just tomorrow. Even if they lose, these conspiracy theorists, con artists, and dark money billionaires who want to end our democracy aren't going to magically disappear.
Their dark money, inside-the-beltway "think tanks" will still be there, John. People will still be paid a literal salary to figure out how to shave the margins and suppress our votes. Jobs will still exist to create whatever the next version of Project 2025 is.
Our mission doesn't end on Election Day. Fuel our efforts to fight these partisan lies and defend our right to vote with $25 or whatever you can so we can make sure every vote counts and every voice is heard in our elections >> [[link removed]]

Integrity First Voter Action Project is dedicated to expanding ballot access and increasing voter participation across the country.
Since the Supreme Court gutted key provisions in the Voting Rights Act, extreme politicians have taken advantage to pass harsh laws that restrict access to the ballot box. These restrictions particularly affect disadvantaged communities and people of color. It’s our goal to bring awareness to these laws wherever they may crop up and organize voters to take action to ensure the right to vote is available to everyone in their states and communities.
Your support is crucial to our efforts. Will you donate today to help us protect voting rights? [[link removed]]
